The journey of the Tŝilhqot’in Nation and the Xeni Gwet’in towards reconcilaiton for their communities, as well as repatriation and recognition of their Aboriginal Title Lands has been a long, hard fight but ultimately a successful one.

When the Colony martyred five of “the Chilcotin Chiefs” on October 26, 1864 it was one of the largest mass executions in Canadian history, as part of the “Chilcotin War of 1864”.
