Getting to Nemiah Valley Lodge

Its an Adventure!

  • Vancouver to Nemiah is a day-drive (depending on the route), but you’ll want to plan to have breaks along the way as it’s at least 7 hours.

  • The last 95 km is on a gravel road, and there is no cell phone services so please download any maps, or have a satellite gps if you feel you require it.

  • Scheduled airplane service to Williams Lake (YWL) is available throughout the summer from Vancouver International (YVR). The Lodge is a 2 ½ hour drive southwest of Williams Lake Airport

  • Feel free to inquire about lodge transfers as we have preferred vendors that provide this service.

  • Charter a float plane from Vancouver Airport, downtown Vancouver or direct from Whistler straight to our private dock on Vedan Lake.

  • Small fixed wing aircraft are available to land on site on our approved landing strip with advanced notice.

Getting to Nemiah’s wilderness is a travel adventure like no other, filled with the best of BC - spectacular mountains, canyons, grasslands, rivers and lakes.

You will think you have travelled to several countries in the span of a day.

Sometimes if you are lucky you may see BC’s spectacular wildlife along the way, like wild salmon, black bears, mountain goats and the wild horses of Nemiah!
