This summer you’re invited to Nemiah Valley Lodge to experience the unparalleled beauty of the Xeni Gwet’in’s wilderness areas and spectacular natural setting. Packages are available as 3 night or 4 night cultural experiences with specially curated activities, all meals included and exclusive use of all Lodge amenities including lakeside activities (kayaks, canoes, fishing rods, etc.) and non-alcoholic beverages.

What’s Included for A 3 night/4 day package:
Day 1 - Welcome & Oral Histories
Arrival – Enjoy a traditional Tŝilhqot’in welcome & relax on your private cabin deck.
Dinner in the Lodge Great Room and take in the views of Tŝ'il?oŝ Mountain. Your Xeni guide will provide you with a overview of the next day’s activities.
Welcome and sharing – after dinner, you are invited to meet with a Xeni Gwet’in Elder who will share stories of the land and waters and the Tŝilhqot’in journey.
Day 2 - Laketime & Exploration
Awaken refreshed after a night spent in the glorious silence of true ‘off the grid’ living, powered by Nemiah Valley Lodge’s own solar field. Enjoy the first coffee or tea of the day on your cabin deck
A hearty breakfast buffet to start the day’s adventures.
Enjoy a guided hike to spectacular Cardiff Mountain or along the shores of Vedan Lake where your Tŝilhqot’in guide, will explain the uses of medicinal plants spotted along the way.
Lunchtime at the Lake House with an afternoon swim in Vedan Lake. Relax with some fishing from our angling kayaks or a the dock or kayaking/paddleboarding on the lake.
A full Indigenous inspired dinner featured at the Lodge and time to connect around the outdoor fire pit.
Day 3 - Traditional Activities
Breakfast & van transfer to the Xeni Gwet’in’s traditional village on the shores of Chilko Lake, Canada’s largest high-alpine lake with the snow-covered Coast Mountains to the west.
Weather permitting, launch the kayaks onto the lake with your guide and take in the stunning scenery. If you’re not up for kayaking, there are a variety of hiking trails to enjoy. Gourmet packed lunch at the lake.
An outdoor traditional dinner at the Lodge with special highlights of locally sourced plants and natural infusions from the land of Nemiah Valley.
Day 4 - Journey Home
Breakfast in the morning at the Lodge and pack up for the journey home this morning!
